The modernistic lines and hard surfaces inevitably create a horribly noisy and annoying atmosphere. Though few other diners were present, those in the adjoining booth were terribly loud, though it was not their fault. In addition, the dining room is constructed in a way that the room is terribly noisy. But this does not make up for the fact that the meal was very bad, and that this ruined a special occasion. To his credit, he removed my meal from the tab. I rarely complain at restaurants, but when the manager inquired about my meal, I tactfully explained. My meal was dry, overcooked, and obviously either pre-prepared or prepared far in advance. My wife ordered a filet steak, which was acceptable. My wife and I chose this restaurant for a Valentines Dinner. But after waiting a couple of minutes and not seeing an employee anywhere, why stand and wait? Prices on the menu were very overpriced also! More Otherwise, I had to sit myself, even though the sign said please wait to be seated. Only 1 of those mornings did someone seat me at a table. I had breakfast there the next 3 mornings. The lady at the bar new we were there and never even asked if we needed a drink. We were sitting at a table next to the bar. ![]() I but we sat at out table over 10, closer to 15 minutes, before I finally had to flag the waitress down and ask if we were going to get service anytime soon. One of them sat a couple of different customers at different tables. ![]() Then we watched 3 employees walk in through the glass door from outside having their smoke break. So we walked in and grabbed a table by the bar. ![]() My co-worker and I stopped and waited at the entrance for a couple of minutes, but no. Like the other reviewer had said, poor service, noisey atmosphere. I was not impressed with the restaurant one bit. Stayed at the Holiday Inn for business last week. Cold fries, cold Gumbo, cold crab legs with a foul smell, over seasoned dishes that were literally inedible, then the best treat of the evening, the owner coming back over and literally started mocking us! Saying if the food is cold fine, he’ll take it away and we won’t have to pay for it but not offering anything else to replace it! It was unreal how he was treating us like we had done something to wrong him in some way! No joke another 30 minutes goes by and not a soul to check in on us, 3 separate times we went to the bar to ask for our tickets so we could leave. The food finally started trickling in about 15 minutes later. By this time everyone in the group was hangry and over his nasty comments. After the apps came out after 1.5 hrs the owner came over rudely commenting to us as if he was intoxicated and irritated that we were upset that it was taking so long for the food. Our waitress kept throwing jokes out about wanting to just cry but never alluded to a problem with the kitchen. ![]() During our following 1.5 hour wait for food we witnessed two groups of people sat around us get up and leave after 30 minutes of no one even coming to their table to say hello. 20 minutes later got our drinks then placed our orders. After 15 minutes we were greeted and put drink orders in. He cleared off two tables and sat us immediately next to each other, never saying anything about how short staffed they were how slow the kitchen was or anything about him deciding to close the kitchen in an hour due to the band in the back. This was our first vacation for over a year and we wanted to celebrate! This night was literally ruined by this establishment! The owner who kept calling himself the head bus boy told us upon entry that we would have an hour wait to sit a group as large as ours which was 8 people, I asked if we split up could we be sat. We arrived with a large group after being referred by a local. Where do I start! I am a business owner and have never written a negative review as I understand the repercussions of this in our society today, however the experience we had last night was literally out of this world wrong on so many levels!.
